[Is it possible to follow “Love what you do and do what you love.”?] There is one statement I have heard from motivational speakers. Since you talked about work culture, they often say, “Love what you do and do what you love.” Is it possible to follow this principle in practical life?

Answer
These are all modern concoctions.

If you go on doing what you love, that can be possible in the spiritual world, but not here. Here, you are obligated to do what you are supposed to do.

As per your karma, you may love to be a rich man, but you may not be able to become a rich man. You have to be what you are meant to be.

In other words, these are psychological proverbs that have come out of psychological necessity. But if you extend them too much, you cannot live by those principles.

We have to live by the principles of the Bhagavad-gita.
