Answer
Kāma-sankalpa is false. The materialistic way of life is not the soul's pleasure. It is not the soul's happiness. That attachment will go away by associating with devotees and with sadhu-sanga.

The best way to associate with sadhus is through the proper process of hearing and engaging in devotional service.

There are different kinds of energy—some energy pulls you down and some energy pulls you up. We have to associate with the energy that elevates us rather than the energy that drags us down.

Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare, Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare.

The idea is that our entire being should become absorbed in Krishna consciousness: soulful, heartfelt, mindful and earful—and our tongue should also be engaged in chanting Krishna's name.

When the ears are filled with Krishna, the tongue is filled with Krishna, the mind is filled with Krishna, the heart is filled with Krishna and the soul is connected with Krishna, then everything becomes spiritually meaningful.

Otherwise, it becomes garbage. We don't want to become heartless, mindless and earless, with only the tongue mechanically engaged.

We should engage ourselves completely in Krishna consciousness.

Everything else comes out of this. That is why we don't preach this only for beginners. It is something that everyone has to continue cultivating, including those who have been practicing for a long time.
