Answer
That is a balanced person. Intelligence is very important, and emotion is very important.
So, anyway, I forgot to mention one more thing.
Statements like "men and women are equal" and so on are coming. No, that is for a proper man—a proper man who has full self-control and has control over all his emotions.
Where is that? Every man is a woman only, and every woman is a man only. Everything is upside down in society now, isn't it?
So foolishly, people ask, "How can it be?" Is Prabhupada so foolish as to say that women are less intelligent than men when so many women are so successful, so brilliant, and have attained such high material positions?
They have that ability. They certainly have that ability. But there is a weakness that can manifest when it comes to their personal life. Their emotions can become very intense when it comes to personal relationships.
It can be difficult for them to give up that attachment.
A woman may tell somebody, "I cannot live without you," and the man may, for a moment, say, "I cannot live without you." But actually, it may be a lie. The man may just drop it like this.
Women can become stuck because, emotionally and sincerely, they say, "I cannot live without you."
So they can be in for a shock in life.
All this has to be understood in the proper context.
First, you accept what Prabhupada said. It is not something arbitrary; it comes from the shastra.
So, who is a balanced person? A balanced person is one who is spiritually advanced. He has a complete balance of emotion and intelligence.
If he is only 100% intelligent, then there is no life. Life becomes dry, isn't it?
If there are only emotions and no intelligence, life becomes a calamity. Is it not?
So, if you go to either extreme, life will either become a calamity or it will become tasteless and dry. Nobody can live without emotions.
The yogis shift their emotions to Krishna. Life is all about feeling.
It is because of the desire to feel the independence of the ego that we come into this material world. Everything is about feeling.
False ego is an ego feeling.
High spiritual intelligence means having the intelligence to manage your ego feelings—to throw out the false ego feelings and fill yourself with the servant feeling, the ego of a servant:
"I am the servant of Krishna."
