Yes, there is a very great difference.
The scriptures repeatedly explain that only through bhakti-yoga can one fully realize the Absolute Truth as the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Lord Krishna.
Other spiritual disciplines may lead to partial realization, but they do not culminate in complete understanding of the Absolute Truth.
Because these processes provide only incomplete realization, they cannot award the highest spiritual perfection or the ultimate experience of eternal happiness and satisfaction.
Only devotional service enables one to develop a personal relationship with Krishna and attain complete realization of His eternal nature.
Therefore, the transcendental state achieved through bhakti-yoga is unique and unsurpassed.
