Answer
Faith develops through preaching.

Someone preached to us, and that preaching transformed our lives. Our own lives are proof that spiritual transformation is possible.

That is why Srila Prabhupada called this a movement. The more this movement grows, the greater its influence reaches every living being.

However, people cannot be transformed merely through intellectual discussions. We should:

Offer them prasadam.
Invite them to participate in kirtana.
Encourage them to render devotional service.
Help them serve Vaishnavas, the spiritual master, and saintly devotees.

Through these activities they accumulate spiritual merit (sukriti), which gradually qualifies them for devotional service.

Initially, many people are not yet qualified to appreciate spiritual life. Therefore, our first responsibility is to help them become qualified by regularly giving them prasadam and engaging them in devotional activities.

We have seen countless examples. Many parents and family members initially had no interest in Krishna consciousness. But gradually, through prasadam, hearing, and devotional association, they changed. Someone may begin by offering food to Krishna, then chant three or four rounds, and eventually the entire family may be chanting sixteen rounds daily.

There are countless examples of this gradual transformation.
