Answer
By ISKM, I mean the International Sri Krishna Mandir. It is a group of devotees engaged in preaching, and recently they have been posting videos that have generated some controversy.
We are not affiliated with the International Sri Krishna Mandir. Although they preach from Srila Prabhupada's books, and we also preach from the same books, there are significant differences between our approaches.
One similarity is that they, like us, follow a system in which Srila Prabhupada is accepted as the spiritual master for those seeking initiation within their institution. Thus, there are certain common elements in terms of following some of Srila Prabhupada's instructions.
However, we do not agree with all the views and presentations found in their preaching. In particular, we do not agree with anything that goes against Srila Prabhupada's teachings or presents those teachings in a manner that may create misunderstanding among the public.
Any presentation that portrays Srila Prabhupada or his teachings in an unfavorable light is not proper. Even if there is no intention to disrespect or diminish Srila Prabhupada, such presentations can unintentionally create misconceptions and may ultimately do a disservice to both Srila Prabhupada and his movement.
While their intention may be to serve and preach Krishna consciousness, certain methods or presentations can sometimes produce effects that are not beneficial for the mission of Srila Prabhupada. Therefore, we do not endorse those aspects of their preaching that we feel are inconsistent with his teachings or that may negatively affect people's understanding of him and his movement.
