However, for serious reading and study, Srila Prabhupada especially emphasized three principal scriptures: Bhagavad-gita, Srimad-Bhagavatam, and Chaitanya-charitamrita.
These three works alone require an entire lifetime of study, and even one lifetime is not sufficient to fully comprehend all that Srila Prabhupada has presented in his translations and purports. The depth of knowledge contained within these books is practically unlimited.
Therefore, rather than trying to study many different scriptures, one should sincerely attempt to study these three foundational works. By carefully reading, hearing, reflecting upon, and applying their teachings in one's life, one can attain complete spiritual success.
